Tiny blossom

I have a key lime tree that I brought with me when I moved here from Jackson. Last year it made a lot of leaves, but no blooms. It looks like my friend is well-acclimated this year and we might even get some limes!

For more flowers, visit Floral Friday.

You will have to keep us updated on the growth of the limes.

The welcoming blooms of spring. Well captured photo Halcyon. Did you move and grow this in a pot?

A lovely sign of adaptation.

@Ciel - le temps est vraiment bizarre cette année. On avait 15° mercredi et ce matin il neigeait. :S

@Regina - I have it in a pot. It's in the house right now, but I'll put it outside when the weather is nicer.

We had a lime tree at our previous house - great to see a familiar sight!

How very cool! Do you have to treat in a special way to keep it going here in Ontario? Well, for sure I know you are growing it indoors. But what else do you do?

...and when you get some limes you can make key lime pie, and I'll be there before you can say "Toronto"!

How very delicate.Does it smell as lovely as orange blossom?

Citrus flowers have sweet scent too! Maybe if the flower is so sweet, the fruit will be very sour, just kidding!

Even if you don't get limes, I'm sure the fragrance of the blossoms was/is heavenly!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
