Here's another look at the new Loblaw's supermarket downtown. I wonder if they will always have every checkout line open here. From experience, I can tell you their other stores are not so well-staffed. But at least they're keeping up for now!

Le côté "authentique" du tout en bois... C'est très à la mode.
Hi,
It looks like a good place to shop...no???

Nice to see a busy downtown supermarket. They have tried one in Dallas and everytime it fails. This one looks nice.
it's really nice, love all the wood!
Nice to see so many cashiers working. It's becoming commonplace for retailers to be understaffed.
Very nice super-marketing!Hmm I need to go shopping as well!

If it's like any other grocery store, as soon as the cashiers get busy it will be time for their lunch! :D
(I was having problems leaving a comment, thinking it was on your end, but it turns out the problem was mine. :( )
It's definitely not Walmart! I hate having to wait to be checked out and they are the worst. This store looks quite nice!
It looks clean and busy.
I always go to the self check-out if I can!
Looks like a nice store. That's the key to success, I think - enough checkout counters open and friendly clerks!
I like how you've captured this everyday scene looking down the checkout line. I'm with Redpat, I like self service checkout.
Looks like a nice market.
Interestingly, I didn't think it was that busy when we were there, so it I do wonder how long that will last!
@Ciel & Tanya - funny, I hadn't really noticed the wood. But now that you mention it, it is really nice!
@RedPat & Regina - I avoid the self check-out lane. I think they ought to give you a discount for using them. If I wanted to work as a cashier I would get a job there. They never work right for me. :S

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
