An old church downtown. I don't recall its name, but maybe a reader can help me? I know the tram lines above are not so attractive, but I like the way they look somehow, like they're weaving a web above the city.

I think it's called The Old Church Downtown.
And I don't mind the web of lines. I just wish we had trams/streetcars here! So convenient. We had them in Los Angeles when I was a kid. Loved 'em. Could go anywhere without a car.
So, what's new?
What an ornate building! I think that the tram lines are a bit distracting but what a wonderful form of transportation to have at one's fingertips.
The lines reminds me of an archeological dig.
The church is majestic! How are you enjoying Toronto? Loving your photos of your new city :-D

Jacob is right. It is called The Old Church Downtown. Are you up in Toronto for good now? BTW, I am fine with the wires. People couldn't get around on the trolleys or have power in their buildings without them.
Ha, I love the title of the post!
God bless you!

The wires sure don't take away from its beauty. Nice shot.
The church is St Jame's cathedral - it is Anglican. Queen Elizabeth goes to services there when she is in Toronto. Nice title.
This church could be somewhere in Middle Europe!
It's a gorgeous building and don't worry about the cables, I have the same problem in old Lisbon! :-)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
