Monday message!

I found this cute little chickie on a storefront around Kensington Market. I think it's a perfect message for a Monday - hope yours is going well! For more murals, take a look at Monday Murals.

Purple martin and blue skies

It seems I'm not the only one enjoying this great spring weather! For more skies, visit Skywatch!

Crying out!

For crying out loud, can't you tone it down? These birds can sure make some noise. But I liked the way this looks in black and white. Hope you do too!

Crossing

I find Canada Geese almost as bothersome as squirrels. They make such a mess on the golf course and can get really aggressive. But this one posed so nicely for me as he was crossing the cart path, that I just might change my feelings for them. But probably not.

Black and white in black and white

A look at these black and white fellows in monochrome. They were one of my favorite exhibits at the zoo.

Pink and green

Most people are thinking more red and green this time of year, but I thought it would be good to shake things up! Hope all my American friends had a great Thanksgiving Day and do not get trampled in the black Friday shopping crowds today. To the rest of you, Happy Friday!

Small falls

A replica of Niagara Falls at the Toronto Zoo. Plus some colorful birds! Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Beach scene

A beach scene in black and white. I don't typically like seagulls, but when they're on the beach where they're meant to be (and not stealing food from my plate at Sea World), I don't mind them as much. To see more monochrome shots from around the world, visit the Weekend in Black and White.

Gulls on the green

Canada geese were common visitors to the greens on our course in Jackson, but seagulls are something different!

Birdie on the 18th

I did finally get to play some golf this weekend. My husband and I headed over to the Lionhead Golf Club in Brampton. We played the Legends course, which is rated as the "most difficult course in North America". We had a great time and met up with this fellow on the last hole. Think he was looking for a morsel for the chick. Overall, it was a wonderful day on the golf.

In other news, the postal workers are still on strike. Which means still hi-jacking internet from the neighbors.

Mr. Robin

Aren't these guys supposed to be a harbinger of spring? Keep on tweeting, Mr. Robin, keep on tweeting away!

Canadian duck

This guy was seen last September near the waterfront. I hope he's keeping warm right now! Getting used to the cold up here is not going to be easy.
