When I lived in Mississippi, our town had yellow fire trucks. That just never sat right with me. So I'm very glad to see the fire trucks in Toronto are traditional red! For more red shots from around the world, visit Ruby Tuesday.

un métier important, dire que dans certaines banlieues parisiennes, ils se font caillasser par des bandes, lamentable
neat shot, there is a lot to notice in it.
Supposedly the yellow trucks are easier to see. That said, like you, «Louis» thinks a fire truck MUST be red!
;-D
The trucks in Pickering are red. I wonder what colour they are in Red China:-)
And very smart they are Halcyon. Hmmm, yellow fire trucks... nup, no way!!
I like the classic red trucks, too. They are so big and loud, I don't think we need to use yellow for visibility.
We have red one's here too.
Our trucks are red, but yours are more beautiful...
This is a very nice photo and yes, fire trucks should be red. Mail boxes should be blue! ;-) But the ones I saw in Paris were yellow. That took some getting used to!
Les fire engines ;-) du continent Nord-Américan sont tellement plus beaux que les nôtres !
I don't think I have ever seen a yellow fire truck. Red signals alarm.
Nice truck but I was more taken by the design of the building behind it.
It's always fun to photograph RED firetrucks!
Yellow fire trucks. Nope. But red ones like this one, that's fine.
@Regina - click on the link in my post and you'll see a yellow fire truck in Mississippi.
@Randy - I like the building too! Lucky I caught this at the right spot. I took it while crossing the street. :)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
