This sign gave me a little chuckle. Perhaps I should have gone inside to see if the dining room was indeed homelike. If you'd like to see more funny signs from around the world, visit Signs, Signs.

It sounds nice as most hotels are the opposite to homelike.
une belle vieille enseigne digne des vieux films policier
great details
You got a laugh out of me today. Homelike? Well, not like my home . . .
@Jack - I wasn't exactly sure what they meant with this sign either. I somehow doubt it would be like my home. :)
Perhaps it means you have to cook and a sever yourself;-)
I have never seen anything like this, and we have our fair share of strange signs...
I like Andy's idea with out the severing part of course!
C'est rigolo. A Seattle, il y a une vieille enseigne lumineuse "rooms: 99c"...
Andy's comment made me laugh out loud. :)
I would take a guess that their dining room looks very nice, judging by how neat the exterior of the building appears.
As for us, no dining room at our place, only an eat-in kitchen! LOL!
Thanks for your visit and comment on my sign entry.
Very catchy name for a hotel. Like that. ^_^
Signs
I dunno! I get a little antsy when I hear about "homemade" food or dining. That could cover a lot of territory and I've eaten a lot of stuff in various homes over the years that I hope to never eat again!
Funky sign, though. And it probably brings in customers.
I don't want "homelike" when I stay in a hotel! I want the little luxuries I don't have at home, so I'm afraid I would pass on this one! :-)
I like the red brick building.
i'm like Inger-M...i'd like a little pampering when i'm in a hotel.:p
Love the vintage neon sign! I wonder if it still lights up?
Great find!
Oh, how I love these old neon signs. They are all so full of personality and disappearing quickly. Great find. Thanks for sharing it with folk like me...the senior citizen bloggers. genie
It would be great to see what their interpretation of homelike is..when you're finished eating wash up the dishes after yourself!! Great catch!
I can imagine what the inside looks like, we have homestyle places in KC.
Interesting! Maybe it means your husband will cook and do the dishes;o) I should have tried;o)

BIZZZZZZZ et à bientôt****
I love old neon signs.
I bet their dining room was nothing my home!!
I remember those days when restaurants tried hard to make you think you were eating just like at home with food just like mom's. Personally, when I eat out or stay overnight, it is for that escape from home.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
