Juxtaposition

I found this mix of flowers and an old cannon rather odd, but quite beautiful nonetheless. Hope you are enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday!

The flowers serve as camouflage.

Maybe it means eventually flower power will overcome military power! We can dream, anyway!

Re your question: In some areas - outlying areas - postal carriers, esp. if they are contract workers, must provide their own transportation.

Our son-in-law is a regular carrier in Colorado and had to provide his own truck. He bought a Jeep with right hand drive...I think it was shipped from Japan!

I would look at it and think nothing of the juxtaposition, but now you mention it, yes, odd. Odd, but beautiful.

My first thought: how odd to see those delicate fragrant flowers next to an object of destruction. But, as Lowell mentioned, it 's a great to believe that flower power will be the staying force!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
