Old time theater

I guess the marquee is dating this photo a bit, but I was looking through my archives and realized I never showed this one. I love old movie theaters and I believe this one has been transformed into a live theater. A good way to recycle, I think!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend so far. If you'd like to see more black and white shots, visit the Weekend in Black and White. And I've still got some stuff to show you from the Air Zoo on my travel blog.

Looks like a classic old theatre --- especially in b & w.

Nicely composed and I do like the b&w. Our downtown theater was revisited and renovated as a live theater venue, but that didn't work. Now, it's back as a movie theater. It was almost shut down a few weeks ago but some benefactors stepped in to keep it going. I have a bad feeling that it's not going to last, though.

Well, the stage version still circulates quite a bit. I like the name of the theater. It refers to a building, not a city. Canada doesn't have a Capitol like we do, does it?

That old place looks great in b&w.

Last year I watched the show Hairspray here in Rio de Janeiro. A good photo.

It seems to be a trend, transforming these older theatres back to live venues. Like the shot!

C'est un très joli cliché en noir et blanc! J'aime beaucoup aussi ces vieilles bâtisses!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
