The skating season has officially begun! Ice rinks around the city opened up this weekend. I'm going to have to buy a pair of skates and get out there. Skating is one of the few winter activities that I actually enjoy.

A) the funniest thing you ever saw
or
B) the most frightening thing you ever saw...
I think Toronto's outdoor rinks are wonderful encouragement for people to get out and enjoy winter. :)

I love ice skating, but haven't done it in years!
It doesn't, thankfully, get cold enough for outdoor rinks here on the "wet" coast. Though I do remember a lot of winters in Ontario, playing pick-up hockey on make-shift rinks and ponds.
Looks like a wonderful outdoor rink. I hope that they have a warming house, too!

Where is this? The setting looks dimly familiar. I can't ice skate (or ski or hit a golf ball or whatever) to save my life. You have a lot more people there than in the rink on my Tuesday post.
Winter has arrived.
Oh I LOVE skating! It's one of the only sports that I can handle. This looks like a really great rink to take a spin in :D
