A legend

I'm not really sure what makes this place legendary. Perhaps some of the athletes who practice here have taken part in the Olympics? In any case, I liked the colors and the patio does look like a nice place to enjoy the views of Lake Ontario. For more murals, take a look at Monday Mural.

Hope your week is off to a good start! I'm already ready for the next weekend.

You're right; the mural is attractive and the patio looks like a wonderful place to meet friends, chat, and enjoy life.

There's got to be a story there somewhere Halcyon, wonder what happened in 1903 ?

Looks like this is the Balmy Beach Club - Legend by the Lake, which was started in 1905 and has hosted lots of events and had numerous "important" people visit over the years. Love the mural.

With the Olympic rings, there must have been some impressive artists there.

Try "athletes" instead of artists.

Il n'y a pas eu d'épreuves Olympiques à cet endroit ? Il est très beau !

Training ground for some Olympians is my guess too. I like the feeling of pride the mural exudes. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
