Pure old-fashioned

Of course I had to make a stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake during my recent trip to the falls. I love a brick building with a painted sign on the side. I don't know if it's actually old or just looks old, but it's neat whatsoever. Happy Wednesday - tomorrow is my last day of work! For more signs, take a look at Signs, Signs.

Beautiful building indeed and I like a lot the light inside it!

The paint sign is a blast from the past that one usually only finds today as ghost signs. Nice find.

A beautiful shot, with the sun going down and the warm lights of the building. I, for one, guess this is an old sign, but remains still very attractive! Hard to believe you're soon on your way!

Awesome capture! I love everything vintage and this brings me back to the "good old days", as it were. :)

I also meant to mention that I love the lights in the place...it gives it a cozy, warm feel.

Did you go in and buy anything? I always like to wander in to see if they have anything different than what you can buy at other stores.
That sign is attractive - wonder why there aren't more of them around there?

If they have been making marmalade since 1923 they must know a thing or two about it. Would have to check this place out.

Old or not, it still brings out memories of the past. They are getting harder and harder to find. Away with the old and on with the new. So sad. genie

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
