This is the "front door" to Union Station. It's quite a magnificent building which houses a subway stop, numerous streetcar stops and all of the GO commuter trains make their final stop here as well. It's certainly a busy place during rush hour.
I'm hoping to have my own internet connection next week. They say the postal strikes will come to an end this Friday. It will certainly be good to blog again and will also be useful in my job search!

A great statue in front of a grand, monumental station!
Hope you're all settled in to your new home!
Kind regards from EAGAN daily photo
bon weekend
It is beautiful and I like those columns!
Now why did the sculptor think he must provide the pigeons? They are scarce in downtown Toronto?!
A grand photo of a grand station!
Hope to see more of your new city soon! The sculpture is magnificent :D
Me donnerait presque envie de prendre le train !
Bon, y'a pas que les français qui font grève je vois... :-)
Yes, the statue offers a nice welcome to the train station. Glad to see you almost-back.
But isn't it wonderful to have so many public transportation options?
Missed you. Glad you're sort-of back...and sometime you gotta tell me about your house and your golf game!
Wow this angle is beautiful, love this sculpture, very well done!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
