My MiL is in town visiting from Germany, so I've been out and about and getting lots of good shots for my blog. This one comes to you from the Hamilton Cemetery. As you can see behind this lovely memorial area, the grass is totally brown and dry. We need some rain here in the GTA! I was hoping my MiL would bring some from Europe, but so far no luck. If you'd like to see more cemeteries from around the world, take a look at Tapophile Tragics.

If it's rain you want, come out here - dammit! It's nice the way company gets us out and about isn't it.
It's such a hot time to visit Toronto! I look forward to seeing what you decide to show her.
une belle pause dans ce cimetiere
Lots of lightning last evening but no rain here!
What a pleasant place to spend some time!
I hardly ever take out-of-town guests to the cemetery when they visit. Hey, that's just me . . .
Such a beautiful place to stop and rest.
Beneath Thy Feet
so you missed all the rain we had here on Sunday?!!
I really like memorial benches and have thought that that is what I would like to have.
Hi Halcyon
Around my place the weather isn't stable and almost every day I get drenched in a sudden shower.
We get rain most every afternoon and I'd surely send you some if I could!
This is a beautiful cemetery.
Nice place to sit and read.
You are taking your MiL (mother-in-law?) on tours of cemeteries?
If I had a MiL, I would take her on a tour of a cemetery. She would slide off my Christmas list if she did not enjoy the tour!
That photograph could have been taken in the major cemetery in Sydney, Rookwood Necropolis. It seems to be browned off most of the time, possibly because a lot of it is unkempt.
Lovely picture, nice benches...
had quite some rain yesterday!
i heard europe is very hot now too.... maybe rain is coming soon... ?
I'm reading backwards so I know why you were there -- but it's pretty enough that I wouldn't have thought anything about it.
the rain has arrived.....
hope your MIL enjoyed the walk through the cemetery!
Pretty little garden.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
