Commuters

I found this photographic mural in the same place as the Pixel Matrix display. This mural is an actual photo of a street scene in Toronto.

The work is definitely worth a closer look, some of the people seem to have noticed the camera - others just go about their business. I'm sure we could write some stories for these people. For more murals, visit Monday Mural.

This is super! I've never been in that building.

this is an interesting concept. I am not sure I would want to be one of those captured for posterity however. I am shy that way.

I love this! Do you think it is just one large panoramic shot or have a number of photos been stitched together. What great fun, either way!

@Lowell - I think it is one large shot. WHen you look at it closely, you can see that some of the people are distorted from the angle of the lens.

Interestingly, it looks like everyone is going in the same direction!

Fascinating image and interesting concept. I'd be studying it to see if anyone I know is in it. Makes me wonder how they printed such a large image. Thanks for contributing to Monday Mural.

What a neat mural! Is it a permanent installation?

That's a great idea for a mural..I really like it. People look like they're in a huge rush though. I guess that's the downside of a big city. (I still want to visit.)

It's fantastic Halcyon, such a wonderful sense of hustle and bustle, perfect for it's location.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
