One of the nice things about Pardes Shalom is that there were plenty of benches for people to sit and remember their loved ones. This one had just the right amount of shade and sun for an autumn day. Don't forget to remember those who have fallen for our freedom on this Remembrance Day. And you can see more shadows at Shadow Shot Sunday.

Given that Spain does not celebrate this day, I find it interesting to see the posts in which you reflect it.
I'm not sure I've seen benches in a cemetery. That's a very nice thing to have, to be able to sit and reflect. Your post is a nice tribute to those who gave their lives to preserve our freedoms.
I stopped by a cemetery to 'talk' to Dad on Vet Day today. Like this spot.
Even without a loved one it would be a nice spot!
Cemeteries are great places for reflecting and for shadows!
Shadows of Silence
The light and shadow contrast is lovely. Like Lowell, I don't often see benches in cemeteries, other than ones placed by loved ones. It would be nice if more cemeteries would do this.
What a lovely cemetery, Halycon! Wonderful shadow shots for this Day of Remembrance! Hope you've had a good weekend!
Lovely pic, and indeed a great spot to sit and contemplate.
Wow it looks crowded.
It is a pretty and serene place, Halcyon. Placing the bench there really does encourage some time to be spent in respectful contemplation. Good idea!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
