Victory in black and white

More art deco details on the Victory Building. I love the simplicity of art deco, and those wonderful designs on the windows lend themselves well to black and white.

Like you, «Louis» likes Art Deco.
There are quite a number of Art Deco buildings in Oakland, California.

«Louis» hasn't forgotten about you, he just has almost no time for visiting blogs now...

Is this where you work? I like the b&w, the light and the window's reflections!

This must have been a brilliant tour Halcyon, it's given you the opportunity for some fabulous shots.

Awesome perspective. Sometimes I miss the city but one visit and I am running back to Santa Fe.

I agree that Art Deco works well in B&W.

Great shot! I also love Deco. After not having visited NYC in decades, I loved discovering all the Art Deco there in 2010. Your interior shot reminds me of going inside the Chrysler Building.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
