You can lead an elephant to water...

But if the fountain is turned off for the winter, you can't make it drink!

Hope you're having a great weekend. We finally got a slight relief from the rain, but I still haven't seen the sunny skies we were promised. At least it's been dry enough to clean up the rest of the leaves in the yard; not exactly what I call a fun weekend, but it has to be done!

A very realistic sculpture. I like that the elephant is moving. Have a good week.

They turn our fountain - yes, singular - off for the winter too! But we don't have elephants, more's the pity.

C'est absolument génial et inattendu !!! Il a fait beau ici, globalement, ce weekend, alors qu'il devait pleuvoir...

Our fountains stay on in the winter and when we get a hard freeze, they really look amazing! I like the elephant.

Our elephants get put under a giant box for the winter!

What's following this pachyderm? Are those babies, or some other type of animal?

Heh, heh! I think you'd want to be careful trying to make any elephant do what it didn't want to do.

BTW, I saw an article this morning which claimed an elephant could speak words just like a human...well, words like "No," and something else. Do you believe that?

@Ali - those are baby elephants. I think I could have framed this better but I wanted to get the benches. :)

I like it! Wonderful sculpture! If you framed it differently you might have lost some of the curves of the fountain, too, which are very nice.

What a wonderful thing to run into in the middle of the city!

Did you ever hear the story of the guy who took an elephant into a bar and...well, you probably heard it, right?

They better give that elephant something to drink quick, before it decides to charge!

I hope you're doing something you really enjoy today! Play any golf over the weekend. For some reason my golf game has fled south. Way south! I don't get it. I keep trying.

Re your comment: I think you are hoping for the same "winner" in this election that I am!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
