Evening on the dock

Another look at the beautiful scenery of the Kwartha Lakes. Too bad I didn't have a chance to get back there this winter. Since we had more snow this year, I bet it was even better!

Very pretty, Halcyon.

I want to thank you on your blog for sending me the hand-knitted hat. It took three weeks to get here! How ironic that it arrived on the first day of spring. Well, it DOES feel like winter outdoors so I will still be able to wear it this year. :)

Thank you. Your knitting is very neat and I like the colour very much.

The light in the sky and shadow on the snowy lake make this picture work very well!

Thanks for the comment. One day at a time!

If I can get past how cold it must be there, this is a pretty place and you captured it well. Maybe I can see it in the summer when it is warm?

Hi Hal! I'd guess you are very busy these days. So far so good here. :)

Too chilly still to sit? Ah, warmth will come.

So serene, and lovely! Great shot! Thanks for your comment on my blog post...I've been "out of commission" some too lately. Just wanted to mention, I don't think the fences and walls in Tucson have as much to do with security as they do with keeping the coyotes and javelina out of the yards, and also with reflecting the Spanish/Mexican heritage here.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
