I can't find any information about this cemetery on the internet, but it is a very interesting site. an old cemetery right in the middle of downtown. The graves were not in great shape, but it was pretty amazing that they were still there even!
There was this plaque that gave a bit of additional info.

So inteesting! Cities always grow. It's surprising that the gravestone is still legible. I love the moss.
I am fascinated by old cemeteries! We have one right in the middle of downtown here too, in fact it is a block away from my office. I love walking through there.
I find cemeteries fascinating and this one would be especially so. Perhaps you'll discover more about it as you get to know the area.

Your cemeteries are so different from ours. Love how you captured the grave upclose in black and white photo :-)
Old cemeteries are often worth some exporing time. In Hartford, there is an ancient graveyard right next to the skyscraper home of a Fortune 20 company. Thanks for visiting while I was away . . . I'm back!
Cemeteries, the older the better, are always interesting places...
I love cemeteries of all kind, but esp old ones.
Old cemeteries like this are wonderful to walk through and photograph. I love the interesting scripts used which are so different from the block print we use today. The other thing I love is to look at the unusual names. This is a fine capture with excellent lighting.
Very interesting!
I like the texture of the stones!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
