Monochrome details

More details from Union Station. This frieze is actually in copper, so the original color is greenish. But I think it looks even better in black and white.

Joli détail, je n'aurais pas pensé à du cuivre !

Nicely done, Halcyon. I so seldom think about converting images to black and white . . .

The sculptured details of the old buildings like this are so beautiful. I can just see that greenish color right now in my mind. A fine capture.

You know way more about Union Station than I do! These details are very cool.

Union Station is a grand old bulding. Great detail.

In monochrome this ornate building detail looks like stone... and while I like the green of oxidized copper, perhaps we now see more depth in the design.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
