Brickworks bench

I recently visited the old Evergreen Brickworks site to do some ice skating and a bit of browsing. This place is packed to teeming on the weekends when they host an organic farmer's market. It was rather nice having it almost to myself though.

That bench must see some use - seems to be the only spot where the snow was packed down enough not to melt. Nice rustic looking bench at that.

Nice bench with a snow carpet!

Non je ne vais jamais à Fontenay le Fleury. Mais si j'y passe, je penserai à toi !

I always like visiting busy places at quiet times too, to compare.

Funny the only snow left is right in front of the bench. :-)

Were you skating all by yourself? Come to think of it, that could be rather pleasant, just gliding over the ice, allowing your mind to roam and letting the tension flow out of your body!

Hmm...sounds so good I'm thinking I should try it. Oops! No ice rink nearby! Darn.

That's one place many people have told me I need to visit!

I haven't been down there since it opened - will have to go on a field trip one day!

@Lowell - I was with a small group of women. There were about 10 of us. But honestly, the skating rink was so small you wouldn't really want more people out there! I don't know how it works in the weekend.

I like most places without crowds. Interesting place.

Nice photo of what seems to be an interesting place. I see the snow is still hanging on in there... Hope you see some Spring weather soon.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
