The Beach area of Toronto is a popular spot especially on a hot day. I caught these boats one evening when my husband and I went down to the water one evening. We've had some scorching days lately and it really is surprisingly cooler by the water.

Sont-ils bénévoles comme ici ou en Angleterre ?
belle presentation de personnes importantes sur les plages
it is good to know these are there, waiting.....
Scorching days are out future it seems. I read some stats yesterday which shows that the USA has had the hottest year in its history! Temps are soaring around the world.
And it's not getting better! It's scary. And still people deny what's happening under their noses.
It's a nice photo, though, and you're fortunate to have a place to go to cool off!
Cool picture indeed.I'm envious here, you have beach in your city! :) Enjoy the Summer!

Great shot! My mum tells stories of hordes of people sleeping out down on the lakeshore during heat waves in the 30s & 40s when there was no air conditioning.
I bet the beach was very crowded last week!!
We are scorched here in KC. high 90's and 100+ the next week. On my drive home today I saw 102.
Unfortunately I do not have ticket to the All Star Game.
Yep, when it's really, REALLY hot I like to be near a big body of water!
I wouldn't mind a scorcher or two out here for a change, thank you! We don't have lifeguards here either, for that matter. :)
Yesterday, it was 88 degrees here and 91 in Minneapolis and in the 100s in other places of the country. As I left to play golf at 7 this morning it was 63 with a nice soft breeze. I love Florida (except for the hurricanes, tropical storms and heat!)...
nice shot - it ain't warm hear - we just had hailstones!
I haven't been to the Beaches for many years, but I remember how scorching Toronto summers can be!
Cool repetition shot!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
