Impatient

I don't really know where the name imapatiens comes from, but mine always seem impatient to bloom! I bought two baskets brimming with pink blossoms to decorate my front porch. They seem to be doing well as attested by this bright bud. This week is going to be all flowers, hope you enjoy!

I love impatiens. The perfect shade plant for summer. I try to winter them over, but it never works because they get too leggy. Enjoy those peppermint stripes.

as I have no flowers on my balcony this year - they would likely all die of parching thirst anyway - I will gladly look at yours all week.

We used to grow these in our greenhouse back in the 1990s.

Thanks for the color energy to my day! It's a joy to my heart to see this image! :)
I can't understand this Summer in Luxembourg, it's cold and rainy...I think it's the same in some places around as well. :(
I didn't know the name of this flower, thanks for teaching me!
hugs and glad you are back!

I've found you've got to be patient with impatiens.

That's why doctors are good gardeners; they have lots of patients.

Be 'patient' and wait a bit and she'll grow into a beauty.

Love these impatiens because they bloom so easily and since I am an impatient gardener, they're perfect for me!

I'm getting just a bit impatiens to see more flower fotos!

Which reminds me, when you have to go to a hospital, it's better to be an outpatien than an impatien.

And if you treat them right they're "impatience" doesn't extend to leaving early, they'll bloom for months.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
