The art students at Central Technical School must be a busy bunch. There are murals of some sort or other covering almost every paintable surface in the building. This one makes me think of a typical cute Canadian couple starting their life out together with their first car. What do you think? For more murals, take a look at Mural Monday.

i love it...also it looks great with those orange doors...must be a very colorful place!
i think that this mural is SO much better than graffiti; the school is smart in encouraging and displaying the students' creative efforts in an acceptable way!
I'm sorry, but cute couple didn't come to mind. The first thing I thought of was Bonnie & Clyde! :-)
It's a nice mural although I think the car is artistically superior to the people.
But what do I know? I thought Picasso was where you stored your photos! :-)
I have noticed a lot of schools giving walls to students, it is a great idea, I just hope they have a policy for painting over and starting anew, without hurting anyones feelings.
Is this the school that had the swim team mural in the pool area? Interesting to me that they are focusing on nostalgic themes. Maybe a requirement? Not a bad idea to connect today's kids to local history. Thanks for contributing to Monday Mural.
It is an interesting idea. I wonder how long these murals stay up before they are replaced. Perhaps every five years?
@Oakland - this is the same school with the swim team mural. I've shown a few others from there too as they really have a lot of wall art. And most of it is pretty good.
Perfect place and very good mural, my compliments to the students!
I think you are right. Most people are pretty excited about the first car.
They've done a great job.
Très sympa et coloré !
Love the bright colours. Very well executed, too!
That's a great idea - the kids must love it.
What a wonderful idea to use the space!
I don't really get why young artists go for old-fashioned themes.
I'm with Lowell: I think it might be Bonnie and Clyde! I like the contrast of the mural and the bright orange doors.
Cute couple and cute car! :-)
I wouldn't mind seeing murals cover all of Manila's ugly blank walls. What bright, cheerful colors—including the doors!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
