I went to the Christmas market in the Distillery District of Toronto this past weekend. I must say it was slightly better than last year, but still nothing compared to the markets of Europe (and Germany especially!). So that's why I'm considering it as a warm-up for the Christmas markets in Berlin that I'll be visiting soon. I'll be flying out this afternoon, but I've put up a few automatic posts for while I'm gone. Hope you enjoy!

I´d like to stroll at that market, great shot!

Enjoy your time away! Merry Christmas!
A lovely festive shot!
I never made it down to that market but the tree is beautiful! Have fun in Berlin.
Oh I know you'll have an amazing time; look forward to the "real" markets and the rest of your trip in future posts. Merry Christmas!
Wonderful shot! To be honest my first thought was Germany when I saw it. Oh well can't win them all. Have a great time in Berlin! :-)
I love this photograph, with the crisp and clean image of the tree as a focal point and blurred people.
Enjoy the German Christmas markets! I was there a year ago and visited places like Köln, Baden Baden, Heidelberg, Strasbourg and Basel, Switzerland. They are such a wonderful tradition (and such a source for Christmas decorations and gifts!!!)
What a beautiful tree. It's breathtaking!
Looks vibrant, enjoy Berlin- have a Berliner Weiße mit Schuss for me!
Have a nice time in Germany!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
A very nice Christmas tree.
Quite an impressive tree!
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! Safe travels and happy shopping! :)
It would be nice to be in a place with a huge tree. They light the column here, but no photo this year. This tree is gorgeous!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
