This gem of a building was built in the beaux-art style. I'm pretty sure the Canadian Bank of Commerce is now defunct, but it must be fun to work here whatever the building houses now!

Stately old building. The Canadian Bank of Commerce is not actually defunct. The CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) is a merger of the Canadian Bank of Commerce and the Imperial Bank of Canada. When they merged (in the 1960s) they were two of Canada's largest banks.
Love your perspective!
Wonderful entrance!
Look at all that scrollwork! I would look forward to going to work here.
Wonderful detailing.
It's a fabulous building!
Yes, the detail here is amazing.
Beaux bank for sure. Love the photo!
What beautiful details.
Even in the tiny town where I grew up the bank was an impressive building (not that impressive, but compared to all the other buildings in town it was).....now they just build them in shopping centers or whatever.
Your black and white shots are just wonderful. It's a great angle too.
Beautifully carved arch Halcyon, like your angle on this one.
The details are just gorgeous!
I think you'll eventually get desensitized to the beauty if you work there everyday. Happens to college kids and professors in those centuries-old universities.
Gorgeous style!
Absolutely beautiful doorway!
BEautiful architecture!
It's a gorgeous building!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
