I found this mural over the weekend in the part of town known as the Junction. It seems it was formerly the hub for train travel in the city, there's lots of locomotive themed signage and such. Unfortunately, this bench made it difficult to get a full view of this mural, but you get the idea. Hope your week is off to a good start, it's going to be a busy one for me. For more murals, take a look at Monday Murals.

There is a nice old time cartoon feel to this one.
Nice mural.
That is a nice mural, Halcyon. I hope your busy week is busy in a fulfilling way, not in a stressful way.
I actually like the bench ... it adds to the scene, almost like you're on the opposite side of the tracks, watching the train.
I find it touching that someone felt the need to preserve the train history of this spot. The bench seems part of the scene. Thanks for posting this and thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
I like the bench too. It gives the feeling of being in the station waiting for the train. You got it from a nice angle. Hope your week goes well!
Interesting mural and I like that bench! :)

Oui mais le banc va réapparaître ailleurs, non ? ;-)
I think the bench and the posts in the foreground, add an authentic touch to the mural itself. :)
Thanks for your comment, this is a nice train too.
Great looking mural, I can almost hear the whistle from the approaching train!
I like it!
A pity for the mural, but the bench looks very good!
Actually I think the bench fits in. :-)
I guess that's why the area is called the "Junction." Don't you just love learning new things about your city? :)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
