I know you've been waiting for it, so here they are, the famous Niagara Falls. This is a look at the Horseshoe Falls actually, they're on the Canadian side. I'm a little disappointed with my shots from the falls. Unfortunately, it was a gray day so there's not much contrast between the water and the sky. I'm sure I'll get back here though, hopefully on a blue sky day!
PS: I showed High Falls in Rochester yesterday. And I've got even more of the city to show you on my travel blog.

But there's something nice about grey days - they can make for dramatic photos like this one and you don't have to worry about too much contrast which creates blown-out white and too dark darks.
This view is awesome! Look at the size of the boat...
@VP - the boat is the Maid of the Mist. It's the best attraction at the falls, it takes you right into the whirlpool at the bottom. Really amazing!
amazing aren't they?!
I wish Ontario didn't have so many grey days! It sure would be nicer if the the skies were bluer, don't you think?
It is impressive, Halcyon. (OK, OK, I won't categorically write Niagara Falls off my bucket list, but it has many other places ahead of it.)
I like that you included the down falls river with the tour boat. I like it even with gray skies.
That would be so fun to see in person.
wow outstanding! :)

I went to Niagra a couple of times when I was little. I love your photo of the falls, so pretty with all the mist :D

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
