This is an old piece of machinery that was on display at the Distillery District downtown. According to one of my readers, it's a "chomper". I think that's a reasonable deduction as to what this machine does. Happy Monday!
PS: This will be my last week in Crete on my travel blog. Stop by and take a look.

I have no idea but it surely looks powerful.
A very nice industrial shot
Looking over my shoulder, my six year old son rather convincingly concluded, "it's a chomper Dad... it chomps things". So there you have it. A chomper.
i think "chomper" is a good guess!
"les temps modernes" revus , tres beau b&w
I have no idea!
Riverdale park has the farm which is cool and then it is mostly playing fields but the bridge over the Don connecting the 2 halves is fun. In the winter the park is great for tobogganing. The residential area around the farm is called Cabbagetown and it is wonderful to explore.
I don't know either, but it makes a great picture!
@Steve - I think "chomper" it is!
i loooooove the monochrome when are perfect as this
Chomper, don't think I want to turn it on. I like this in black and white.
It is a machine for folding and pressing napkins. (Halcyon, just guess . . . none of us know!!!)
A chomper? Ha! :))
My husband (who is an engineer) has informed me it's a machine to bend pieces of metal. I think I prefer "chomper". :)
Excellent b&w!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
