If you don't like the hustle and bustle in Niagara Falls the city, you can head just down the road to Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's filled with cute shops, quaint cafes and the streets are lined with flowers. When you've had your fill, visit some of the nearby wineries.

Oh the flowers are lovely! And I bet VP loves the bench :D
Such a pretty place! I visited Niagara Falls for the first time this summer....on the American side. I'm so happy that I did. It was fantastic. I was really surprised just how many wineries that were along the road through New York on our way to the falls. That would be worth another trip just for that. Are there wineries in Canada, as well? I've never been across the border; but now that I'm in New Hampshire, it's a must-do. Thanks for sharing!
It is so tropical. I would not expect to see this at the falls.
Jack is right, this is so tropical...
A certain scent of tropics here given by the the banana tree like plants. Lovely!
Looks very nice, tropical! I wouldn't mind resting here a while!
I had no idea, never having been there. I guess it's another place for the Bucket List. That list is growing pretty big and the time available is disappearing rapidly! Yikes!
Re your question about Ocala: We do have lots of very strange folks, many of them living in the forests around the city.
Wonderful landscaping.
Great spot for a read.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
