I love Niagara Falls, but the city that has built up around it is a tourist trap in every sense of the term. I thought this scene made for a nice photo, although I wonder how many people come to the falls to bowl.
PS: Although I still have many beautiful shots from Crete to show, I thought I'd take a break and show a bit of Rochester, New York. Stop by and take a look!

un strike sur la grande roue, cela vaut combien de points ? ;))
If you hadn't explained where this picture was taken, I never would have guessed! I would think that the falls alone would be a big enough attraction for tourists.
Interesting comment about Niagara Falls. I have never been there, and I think I will leave it that way . . .
I am asking myself the same question as you: who'd come to such a place to bowl?
God bless youo!

Our daughter and son-in-law visited Niagara Falls recently. We've seen hundreds of pictures of water! Enough already. I'm really happy to see a bowling alley!!! :-)
You like the bad boys, huh? Now, why does that not surprise me? Heh, heh!
Well composed. The bowl sign is great.
The city itself is a tourist trap indeed, but the falls are spectacular! :)
i haven't been there yet but what a fun photo and yeah, bowling, really? i guess locals?
It really looks like a tourist trap, there are so many around...
Tourism is everywhere...
Maybe its a theme bowling alley, glow in the dark pins stuff like that. They can charge more that way, lol. I do like the picture though.
Wow that is a big ferris wheel.
@Jack - it makes me sad to hear you say that. The falls are really worth a visit. If you're not into the touristy trap stuff, you could stay in the quaint Niagara on the Lake which is really nice! I'll be showing it later this week.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
