Snowy chapel

A little chapel found by the side of a country road outside Uxbridge, Ontario.

As it turns out, this chapel has also been photographed by another Ontario blogger, Andy. Although he caught it in a sunnier season.

Adorable little church -- and so pretty against the blue sky. Great find! I wonder if services are still held there and if so who attends?

I know this church. I have photographed it before. You can see it here... http://eycandy.blogspot.com/2010/10/little-church-on-dirty-road.html If you ever want to find your way back look in the post footer for a link to a Google map.

The pretty little chapel with the white snow and trees barren of leaves is very picturesque but appears very cold!!

Looks like an hysteri...er, historical site. I can imagine what goes on in homes nearby on Sunday morning:

"C'mon, get up! Rise and Shine! We're off to church!"

"Aw, Mom, it's too cold! I ain't gonna go today."

"Get yer butt outta bed or you'll be too sore to sit and will have to stand in the back of the church through the whole service."

"Ok, Ok! Jeez. That old gasbag preacher talks for hours. I couldn't stand up that long! Hey, is dad going to church?"

"Ah...no...he's had a rough week and decided to stay home today."

"That ain't fair! You're not fair! Life's not fair! God's not fair!"

"Oops, I forgot. Wear something really warm, 'cause the church don't got no heat!"

"Owwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!l"

Beautiful image. I love how the snow and the white walls of the chapel complement one another.

It is beautiful. It has a Scandinavian feeling.

Blue skies and snow do complement each other, but add in a little white chapel and you have a spectacular scene.

@EG Wow - I thought this place was so tucked away and hidden. But actually it seems that every Ontario blogger had already seen it! :)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
