I found these benches in a small plaza in the Yorkville area. I bet you would find some people lounging there in warmer days, but it's a bit cold for outside sitting right now, even if we're having a milder than normal winter so far.

I guess with what looks like an industrial site for the plaza neighbour, you'd want to be facing in. Those ropes (?) strung along the beams don't help the decor either.
une belle composition avec tous ces bancs et cette personne qui rentre dans la photo
I know where I'll see this one again! :-)
Cold is relative for some people. Our visitors from the north think cold is warm. Sheesh!
Nice photo and well-composed. Looks like a cold, rainy day. And no, I would not sit out on one of those benches!
i love the perspective....looks a little cold/wet right now!
@Paul - those ropes are actually little Christmas light things. :)
@Lowell & Tanya - it had actually snowed that morning and it got warmer in the afternoon, so the wet is melted snow. It was actually a warm day for a Canadian winter as temps were above freezing. :)
Like Ciel, I'm betting VP already has his eyes on this photo! ;D
I like this very, very much!
Cool colors, cool photo. I really like the way the colors work together with the textures. And I've developed a special fondness for benches since I found a certain blog awhile ago!
Lovely textures this time of the year
Oh dear! It does look rather bleak and cold, but it makes a mighty fine photo...
One of my favourite little parks and a great place to sit and watch the rich people walking by!
Belle rangée de bancs! Ici il fait très froid pour rester assis sur un banc dehors! Ce matin il faisait -12C° et les prochains jours la température va encore descendre!

Belle soirée****
I would expect it to be a beautiful spot in the sunny spring. summer or fall
Still, it is a wonderful perspective image, Halcyon.
Wonderful perspective.
Looks like nice place to take a break.
Ooohhh, I know some people who'd love this! :)
God bless you!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
