Black and white bears

Another piece on display at the Interior Design Show. These bears remind me of those you might see in Berlin. And I think they look even cooler in black and white.

If you'd like to see more monochrome shots, take a look at the Weekend in Black and White.

Dancing Bears is a common Inuit theme, which is what they remind me off.

For someone who can barely dance, these dancing bears are a delight! Like the b&w too!

Yes, I think Paul is right. These bears seem particularly adept at dancing!

@Paul - I did not know that! Thanks for teaching me something. :)

I like this photo very much. Do you know the reason for the black discs on the bears' fronts?

Halcyon said...

@Dragonstar - I have to admit, I didn't even notice the disks until you mentioned it. I imagine they much have something to do with the Inuits. But I'm not sure.

Un tango Inuit ?

Love the way you've captured this, Halcyon. It is almost abstract in its starkness.

Very good photo.

Maybe the discs are there as design elements?

Dancing? I don't think so. They are fighting tooth and nail. It's a death dance. May the best bear win! Great picture!

I like it, a dance to the death.

Oh dance tunes are running through my head.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
