Bright blooms

I saw this beautiful bouquet at the Interior Design Show last weekend. I'll show some more shots from the show in the next days.

If you'd like to see more blossoms from around the world, take a look at Friday Flowers.

Trop tôt pour les renoncules ici, j'adore ces fleurs mais elles s'ouvrent rarement chez moi :-(

Oh, that is great, Halcyon. Ranunculus. That is a flower I have heard of, but I wouldn't be able to recognize it.

Can spring really be that far away? ...way up here in the corner in the NE.

As others have mentioned, these are ranunculus, more commonly known as buttercups. I tried many times to grow them when I lived in Jackson. Unfortunately my attempts were unsuccessful. They grow well in California. Each year there is a big buttercup festival outside Carlsbad. They have fields filled with these colorful beauties. It looks spectacular.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
