I saw plenty of families skiing and having fun at the Earl Bales Park ski run recently. There's only one hill here and it's pretty gentle, so it's a good place for the youngsters to learn.
Happy Family Day to all my Canadian friends! And to the rest, happy Monday!

je connaissais pas cette fete, mais tu en as de la chance de pouvoir skier, les gens semblent heureux
As Family Day - I actually had to look it up, as I didn't know about it - is only marked in 3 Canadian provinces, a lot of your Canadian friends won't be celebrating. I appreciate the thought though! :D
Paul, you mean other provinces have this Family Day? I though it was only McGuinty's invention!
But, Happy Family Day back at you, Halcyon.
Looks like a great place to start! I went snowboarding for the first time last year and couldn't move the next day. haha :D
I just saw this "family fun day" on EG Wow's site. What a wonderful idea! Incidentally, I agree with you re word verification, and we're not the only ones. I've gone to the Google Help site and lodged my complaint along with many others!
What a great holiday. I could handle this hill as it has been too many years since I've skied.
It looks like my kind of hill. :))
Perhaps it would be a gentle enough hill for aged persons to learn, should I ever make it to Toronto in the winter?
Just love that city skyline backdrop, makes the photo special! The new word Verification is driving everyone nuts. I usually have 3-4 goes before I get one that I can read!
that's a pretty scene
a gentle hill is a good thing for little ones and clumsy ones like me
thanks for the comment re word verification

I've been told that helps
It looks like a gentle hill indeed. My skis are put away, probably forever, but even I could be lured out on this small hill if I had to.
You wouldn't want to see «Louis» on skis! It would either be the most hysterically funny or the most appallingly horrible thing you've ever seen!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
