I recently attended a Japanese cooking demonstration by one of Toronto's top chefs. It was quite interesting and informative and this is a look at the end result of all his hard work. I don't recall what all of these dishes were called, but I can give you an idea of what some of it is:
The black things in front are little crunchy sardines (they were quite tasty actually!), next was some kind of crab meat wrap, next to that is a chicken meatloaf, the orange is filled with a salad of cucumbers, radishes and jellyfish and garnished with a lotus blossom (also tasty) and the last thing is black cod. I tried everything, even though I typically don't eat chicken and fish and I was surprised at how tasty everything was. My compliments to the chef!

All these shows and demos you're taking in! My compliments to the photographer - food pics are hard to do properly!
@Paul - I may not be the chef, but I am the photographer. Thanks! :)
Bon. Je m'en vais à la cuisine. Il est presque 20 heures, j'ai faim, mais ça ne sera pas aussi bon !
Not only tasty as you say, but the presentation is wonderful. It is so much fun to eat ethnic food!
I bet they are good, but I usually dine Italian...
Makes me hungry.
Glad it was to your liking. I'd probably prefer some other cuisine. Nice photo!
My favourite cuisine
Quite an interesting variety displayed in your photo.
Excellent, Halcyon. I rarely ate Japanese food until my son became enamored of all things Japanese. Now he and I go to sushi luncheons frequently as a way of having time together. Don't you love the way good food is presented? Nice composition.
Great shot!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
