It's back to the Bata where a selection of footwear of the 1920s was on display as one of their changing exhibits. The 20s are one of my favourite eras and the shoe styles were quite glamourous. It was certainly a liberating decade for women.

They had STYLE!:)
Have you seen the film "The Artist"? I will go and see it next week.
What a wonderful poster/mural/sign of the women. Love the clothes and the era. Makes me think of Paris.
We had a delightful movie up for an Academy Award "Midnight In Paris" here recently. Did you see it? It was indeed a charming time.
I don't know about the Twenties, but I like your shot.
Love the 20's too! Art Deco at it's best.
La "folie" de l'après-guerre, la libération comme tu dis. J'adore les vêtements de l'époque !
The flappers were out and the shoes were dancing...the only thing...the 20's led to the Great Depression. That wasn't so good.
Re your comment about commenting on the new site. It's a pain, I know. Just type in your name, "Hal," and leave the rest blank. I'm working on a way to save things.
It was a fascinating period!
I love that poster, wow. Midnight in Paris has such beautiful fashion and hairstyles.
The art, fashion and architecture from that era are wonderful.
It was a fun time in those Roaring 20's (or so I understand!)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
