Toe the line

I've shown you the old-style subway cars before, now here's a look at the new ones. It's a totally open train, so you can follow this red line from one end to the other. And believe me, there are still many people who find that an entertaining proposition!

I can't recall any other city with this train-like type of subway. Interesting.

l'interieur de ce wagon est tres beau, et tres graphique. par terre, on pourrait imaginer des croix

Comme sur la ligne 1 du métro, mais en plus grand, du moins c'est l'impression que ça donne !

A great angle and I like to see how people commute.

I have never been on this version. Makes a fine photo!

@Paul - Paris has open cars, but they're more narrow than this one.

@Ciel - je trouve que les wagons ici sont un peu plus large que ceux a Paris. Ils sont plus comme les wagons a New York.

Love the bold colors in this photo! Our trains still have the doors between each train cart. Yours looks a lot more open and roomy :)

@Kaori - most of the trains used on the subway are the old-style with each car separated. But they introduced a few new ones on my line a couple of months ago. So it's still sort of exciting when you get a new one. But mostly it's still the old. :)

The picture is stunning. I don't think it could be any better.

After I was hacked I had to give up my old user name and the blogs that went with it. My Birds Blog was among the give-ups.

So this is the new birds blog and I hope you can come visit. Birds Birds Birds and Birds

Nice cars, but the old ones weren't bad at all...

Looks entertaining to me. Especially with a camera.

@MMTeacher - I've never walked the entirety of the train. But sometimes it fun to go through a few cars.

I haven't seen one of the new trains yet - I don't ride the TTC very often. Love your shot!

Wow it looks amazing Halcyon, you could throw a party in there..but being ever practical, if the train is crowded and you have to stand, what do you hold on to?

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
