Flag unfurled

This is my fourth and final entry into the photo competition. I like it the best. I love the way the flag has opened with the wind and the blue sky above with the airplane streak. But there were so many pro photographers out and about, I feel I don't stand much of a chance against them. But you definitely can't win if you don't try!

Happy Friday everyone! If you want to see more skies, visit Skywatch.

I love that you caught the flag open, that is hard to capture. I looked at the submitted photos. Wow is all I can say. Gave me some great ideas. One grows entering these type of events. Your photos were unique and well done, my best for an award.

Oh well done Halcyon, I love every one that you've entered. Just had a look through the submitted entries, saw yours there and I think they have as good a chance as any that are there.Good on you for entering it's all good experience.

Good catch of the flag - that can be so frustrating trying to get it sitting out so nicely.

I think it's a fine example of a shot with a towering perspective; it also exudes a lot of strength. Good luck & I like your attitude. Thanks for stopping in a my blog.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
