Hot hats

You don't have to go all the way to London to see the changing of the guard, you can get a great look at the traditional ceremony right in Ottawa! The guard is only ceremonial here in Canada, but it was fun to see the spectacle and hear the marching band. I bet their heads get hot in those fur hats though, especially as we've been having a very hot and dry summer. For more red, take a look at Ruby Tuesday.

en effet "hot hats" c'est bien trouve comme titre, je me demande comment ils tiennent sous la chaleur, a moins qu'il y est une clim cachée dans le chapeau ;)

Some people will do anything to get all dressed up and play games! :-) Just kidding. I find this kind of thing rather charming if innocuous.

So how many years did you celebrate?

Forgot that they do that in Ottawa! Been a while since we visited there.

I wonder how much those hats weigh! They definitely don't look too comfortable, but I suppose they get used to them.

Wow! Lots of red, indeed!

Yes ... awful times with word verification. Why do folks set it up on their sites. Do they actually experience massive spamming and hacking?

Cheers ... visiting from Ruby Tuesday 2!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
