More Mirvish

Since we're on a sort of Mirvish roll, I thought I'd take this opportunity to show you where the famed Honest Ed is buried. Many people are really scandalized by the state of this grave. Ed Mirvish died back in 2007, but to this day his heirs have yet to erect a headstone to memorialize him. I think it's pretty sad as he certainly didn't die a pauper and the lack of a stone really stands out in this particular cemetery where there are many elaborate memorials. I guess we can remember him at his other old haunts around town!

The family is well off and should be ashamed. Honest Ed did a great deeds for the people of Toronto.

je ne connaissais pas Ed Mirvish, mais c'est vrai que c'est assez scandaleux cette tombe a l'abandon

You're right, I guess Honest Ed's spirit lives on in all his old haunts.

C'est triste mais en même temps je ne suis pas sûre que lui ça le dérange beaucoup...

What an unusual sight. Sad, really. I'm suprised the cemetery allows this.

I guess Honest Ed's family are not as honest Halcyon, they should be ashamed of themselves, especially if they inherited!

I agree with the others about this grave, it is a shame!

Weird. I hope the executor didn't give his relatives a dime until they do something suitable in remembrance.

I need to do a little research because I've never heard of Honest Ed. Strange that his burial place isn't taken care of better.

Maybe it's like John Wayne's grave in Newport Beach, California. For years there was no marker at all and now there just a small one. I think his family was afraid of grave robbers.

Those are some big stones.

Hmmm/ I didn't realize there's no headstone there. I wonder why!

This is a good argument for cremation. But, then again I wonder what his heirs would do with the ashes?

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
