Strange scene

A funny juxtaposition at Niagara Falls. I don't know why, but dinosaurs and snow just don't go together for me, but it makes for a nice shot, especially in black and white.

In celebration of two years in Toronto, I knitted a seed stitch hat. If you'd like to win it, just leave a comment before February 24th. I'll draw someone's name from the comments. If you're not interested in being part of the draw, just mention that and I'll keep your name out.

O purée, ça c'est la couleur de mon écharpe préférée et du bout de mes chaussures préférées du moment !!!

Mais les dinosaures vivaient aussi en hiver ! Même que c'était plus ou moins l'époque glaciaire, non ?

Bon anniversaire !!!

Hi Hal,
Still freezing cold. I hope spring will come soon.

C'mon, Halcyon, it snowed when the dinosaurs were here. Just ask me. Some days I feel like a dinosaur.

I guess I just think of dinosaurs as being reptiles and not surviving well in a cold climate. But it's probably just my perception and not based on any kind of fact. :)

I agree with you about dinosaurs and snow, and also don't know why. It's a really nice b&w shot, tho. Nice to have you back. Hope you are well-rested. Try not to work too hard!

Thanks for your comment on Ocala. I feel much the same way. Who would deliberately choose that kind of life. And a large % of these people have mental health problems. You are a good heart!

Put my name & comment in the hat! Love that color.
I'm guessing there could be some sort of connection between the Ice Age that carved the Great Lakes and the dinosaur extinction. But that is really stretching it!

I was thinking that you were on holidays! Only i more year in TO? Love the hat but I have too many and I hate wearing them unless absolutely necessary.

Now that's unusual.

How surreal and awesome! It looks like something out one of Salvador Dali's dreams. Happy Two Year Anniversary!

I could really enjoy those dinosaurs!

I guess that's why they became extinct.

This just made me grin! Your knitted hat looks great, but it'll be too hot to wear here. :p Has it really been two years already?? How time flies!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
