This door will take you into the Bata Shoe Museum on Bloor street. The building has great architecture and the exhibits are surprisingly interesting. I definitely enjoyed my visit and I'll show you a few other shots in the coming days.

Great reflection! Enjoy your week.
belle entree toute en verre, ce qui donne un beau reflet
In a previous life I worked for the Bata Shoe Co, and the only good thing that came out of that is the fact that they transfered me to BC many years ago.
Bata ???? Non, vraiment ?
On dirait une demi-pyramide !!!
Stunning capture, I love the modern architecture, looks an interesting place to visit!

Love the architecture and the way you photographed it!
Cool!
«Louis» thanks you for contributing this to Monday Doorways.
Fascinating design,
Lovely image - very imaginative architecture!
I wonder how many feet it is between the door and the actual museum? Is Bata a shoe manufacturer? Or is bata a Canadian word for shoe? :-)
@Lowell - this is the entrance to the museum. The exhibits are to the left and the right of the main entrance. Bata is a shoe manufacturer, I think they're French actually as they have a chain of stores over there.
What a fantastic entranceway! Love it.
Great entranceway!
Neat shot!
There are museums for just about every special interest, aren't there? Shoes? I don't know that I would visit, however much a good-fitting and comfortable shoe means to me.
Great doorway.
Regards and best wishes

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
