Reflective doorway

This door will take you into the Bata Shoe Museum on Bloor street. The building has great architecture and the exhibits are surprisingly interesting. I definitely enjoyed my visit and I'll show you a few other shots in the coming days.

In a previous life I worked for the Bata Shoe Co, and the only good thing that came out of that is the fact that they transfered me to BC many years ago.

I wonder how many feet it is between the door and the actual museum? Is Bata a shoe manufacturer? Or is bata a Canadian word for shoe? :-)

@Lowell - this is the entrance to the museum. The exhibits are to the left and the right of the main entrance. Bata is a shoe manufacturer, I think they're French actually as they have a chain of stores over there.

There are museums for just about every special interest, aren't there? Shoes? I don't know that I would visit, however much a good-fitting and comfortable shoe means to me.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
