Best bakery in town!

I showed you Saint John's bakery last week, now here's a look at a mural on the side of Dimpfelmeier's. It's my favorite bread shop in town and I'm not alone. Both the parking lot and the shop are always packed each time I go. Unfortunately, they don't allow photos inside, but they've got all kinds of German-style breads: kaiser rolls, hearty buns and of course bretzels! They also make a pretty good baguette, but still not as good as a real French one. The search for the perfect baguette continues, but at least I know where to get a good bretzel.

To see more murals, take a look at Mural Mondays.

What a great mural- I like the slightly old school style of it- and it sounds like a lovely bakery. I feel hungry at reading your post ;-)

Judging from what I see in the mural the artist must have thought this bakery was a good place for children. I hope you find the elusive French baguette.

Avec un B et pas un P, ça dénote une tendance allemande ! :-) Jolie fresque, ça donne envie de faire des bêtises alimentaires !

I'm sure you know what you must do. You must go to Paree for the perfect baguette. Do not waste another minute!

But then this sounds like a wonderful shop in and of itself. So maybe you can put off your Paris trip for awhile.

Why no photos? What's wrong with people? Are they crazy? Don't they know photography is a gift from the gods?

The mural with all its smiling faces suggests that everyone will have a good time at the bakery. Your review tells us it's true. Too bad about no photos inside. Lowell's right, time to go back to Paris! Thanks for participating in this week's Monday Mural.

Beautiful mural. I like the way you have shot this with the expanse of bare wall around it - frames it well.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
