Since coming to Canada a year ago, I've dreamed about trying my hand at a real Canadian passtime - curling! It was a lot of fun, but much more difficult than it appears on TV. My husband and I have another lesson scheduled for the end of April. I can't wait!

tu vas jouer au curling, je regarde des competitions a la television française, c'est amusant a voir, mais en effet cela ne doit pas etre evident
Yup, I swear that every little hick town in Canada - no matter how small - has a curling club! As we do here. :)
Two doors, one blue and one red!
Great capture! :)

What's next.... hockey? ;-)
Faudrait une p'tite vidéo pour nous montrer les leçons !
I think Lois tried curling once, but she was not happy with the beauty salon so quit.
Oh, wait, you're talking about something else. I've not done any curling, either. Other than curling up to go to sleep, of course.
Good luck with your curling adventures! :-))
It really is harder than it at first appears. :))
Something I have never tried!
Good for you! I tried it many years ago and was not impressed (far too difficult!) but I have friend who curls and I have started going to watch them and find I thoroughly enjoy it. It is more fun live than on television.
Good shot! I saw curling being played when IN Canada and it was fascinating!
Curling! A sport I never see except during the Olympics. Good luck!
Now that is something I've never wanted to try, but then I've never lived in Canada.
Curling . . . is that the sport with the big stones and folks sweeping ahead of it? I can honestly say I have never been tempted to play it! Let us all know how you do and what you like about it.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
