Reflective doorway and bench

I met a friend for lunch last week at one of the more upscale shopping areas in Toronto. We nibbled a little and did some window shopping. I love this ornate bench I found outside one of the stores and its doorway with the big windows and bold geometrical lines isn't bad either.

It's certainly a clash in styles isn't it - the modern look of the store-front and the what-ever-style-you'd-call-that of the chair.

I agree with your description. The entrance has big bold colors and I love the unusual bench.

It does really good, however, I suspect the décor reflects the high prices of merchandise within...

Interesting juxtaposition - a very modern exterior to the building (which I like) and a very ornate bench which looks seriously out-of-place! ;-)

A very attractive entrance. I like the color around the door and the way it matches the wood. And, of course, the reflections in the glass.

I missed the bench at first, it is a very strange one!

The style bench is quite a contrast to the modernist style of the door and entrance.

Did you try it out? It doesn't look all that comfortable!

@Lesley - I didn't try the bench. Next time!

@Nix - yes, it's an expensive shop! I didn't buy anything, just window shopping. :)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
