I guess this woman wanted to save a few souls while at the carnival this weekend. What I didn't understand, is why she brought a sign in Chinese.

Le prosélytisme m'étonnera toujours. Voire m'agace.
If they organize a great Caribbean Carnival in Toronto, may be thousands of curious Chinese will be attending...
Oh girl, I want to go to Canada, the weather is fabulous, sunny day, beautiful people and Carnival! wow
I'm so disappointed about this Summer here. :(

@Ciel - je croyais qu'il y aura moins de ca ici à Toronto. Mais le voila.
doesnt look like many people are interested.
A carnival? From the array of flowers I thought that it was a spontaneous memorial site.
What an enjoyable shot, Halcyon. She is facing one way and everyone else is facing away from her. She is entirely isolated despite being in a crowd. That tells a story.
en accord avec CielDeQuimper. peut etre il y avait un carnaval chinois dans la foule
It takes all types, I guess.
I get so tired of people who insist on wearing their religion on their sleeve - or sign - or car! We've got tons of them.
Maybe there is a large Chinese population in Toronto?
Maybe she's too dumb to know the difference between Chinese and English?
:-)
Re your comment about the Brat: I agree that this kind of mannequin is probably not conducive to increasing sales. My first reaction was very negative!
She thinks that she is a missionary? Religious zealots can be a scary bunch.
Get used to it. Canada is a multicultural country and it shows the most in the big cities.
@Jacob - there is definitely a large Chinese population in Toronto. I just didn't think they would attend a Caribbean carnival. :)
At least she didn't hit someone over the head with it.
It doesn't look she is at all interested in Caribana, er whatever the new name is. Then again, she doesn't seem to be an active zealot, either.
maybe she wanted to save some Chinese souls as well.:p
Hmmm. I don't understand why anyone would think this would be a good place to spread "The Word."

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
