It's that time again! The first of the month means a new theme on the CDP network and this month's subject is fences. I hope you'll enjoy this rustic specimen. I'm not sure if it will hold up another season, but I like the recycled log effect and the way it is starting to blend in to the landscape.
To see more fences from cities around the world, visit the CDP November Theme Day page. I've also got another fence you might enjoy on my travel blog.

The split rails do look like they won't last too much longer.
looks like a place to set up a dear stand
J'adore. Et au fond, il y a une barrière toute neuve...
Perhaps the landscape will eventually take over!
@Jim - this is actually next to a golf course, so not the best place for hunting. Unless you're looking for balls of course! :)
An old, rail fence! Love it!
My goodness...you're right. It blends right into the environment. Good eye!
Great shot, Hal! This is one of those old rail fences that remind me of my childhood. I liked them 'cause they were easy to climb over! :-)
A fine theme day entry, Hal!
As usual, «Louis» forgot it is theme day...
hee hee...The Word Verification is 'tickl'...
«Louis» is tickled to visit your blog. ;-D
Splir-rails are my favourite type of fence!
This gorgeous rustic little fence is putting up a very brave fight against nature there Halcyon, wonder how much longer he'll be able to fight it off! Beautiful image.
You have found the perfect fence, hard to find around there.
You bet, I love it!
Ah a lovely rustic fence. The best kind!
un beau coté sauvage
Definitely not a city scene
Looks like it will be returning to the earth soon!
That is really beautiful.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
